This was a good idea, but I just do not buy the characters. Their actions seem too forced, relationships seem stilted, and generally I did not like a number of the characters. Meredith killed me with her stupidity and egotism. And Makayla kissing Jake after he had beaten and raped her sister? I don't care how intoxicating a guys eyes are, that is not something you just forget. And the whole thing with Davids mom is just *too* coincidental. It is too much of the exact same thing to be believable, even in a fictional story. And another thing is that you never really built any sort of relationship between Makayla and Meredith. The only time they spend time together is in the car on the way to school, and then Meredith is suddenly confiding in Makayla? Generally, you started off strong, and the story was very interesting, but then the further you got the less I was interested in what happened.

This is my opinion, but I would also like to just say that rape is not a mistake somebody makes. It is a violent act, and not something a normal person just finds they accidently did one day. A mistake is something you don't mean to do. Most rapists know exactly what they are doing. But maybe it is personal experience that has me up in arms about that.

Aww, its over... :'( I liked the story. But I wish there were more, please read my nowhere near finished stories ^^
