This is an interesting write, solid with the imagination. Powerful stuff you got here, good for the dark imagery and captured a really gothic vibe with this one. I like the Ray Bradbury vibe you got going for this. I got another Lovecraftian story up here titled "Shadow of the Gathering." Cthulhu Mythos being called fanfic is an insult; it is a subgenre of horror that is legit. Lovecraft encouraged other writers to contribute to his Mythos, and that was something that the tradition is carried on by seeing "Darkness From The Skies" and "Shadow of the Gathering." I got one on fanfiction.net titled "Sherlock Holmes & The Case of the Great Old Ones."
