The whole thing was cool, especiall the part about Uncle Samwanting the main character. That was a scream. The only bone I have to pick with you happens to be grammarical errors.
There are several places where you should use "than" instead of "then". Remember: "than" is for comparatives and "then" is a point in time. Other than that you did great.
