I do not understand atheism, I really don't. To me, actually, this sounds more like somebody who is searching for God, rather than somebody who has denied Him. Not all strongly religious people are bent on converting by any possible means and preaching over every issue.
Aside from the spiritual issues, this is a very well composed piece, with a very strong, brief, well stated message.

I'm not going to flame you. I like this poem even if I don't like the content. Yes I am Christian and I'll stay that way til my dying days. Though most people believe I worship Satan. Go figure. Anyhoo, I like this. One of my best friends is an atheiest (sp? dc really). Nice work.
