IrishGuy 2005-03-13 . chapter 1 Uh...wow, it's been a long time since I've done anything for this site...none of us have. Anyway, I was just looking over the site and saw these reviews. I'd like to clear something up. "Rosebud" was from Citizen Kane. The dude said it on his deathbed IN THE BEGINING of the movie. The whole movie is basically everyone trying to find out who or what "Rosebud" is. I'm going to ruin the movie now, 'cause at the end, the last scene, they're burning his **, and they toss in a sled with the name "Rosebud" on it (it was a cherished childhood memory). So there you go. Anyway...I'm wasting space now...see you later. |
 IrishVampire13 2003-07-03 . chapter 1That was...unbelievably weird. You've got a heck of a quirky brain, there.
~~Brandon nodded, thinking back to a similar incident involving him and Mori visiting Lake Tahoe that also included the bumper of Mori’s car. But that’s another tale to be told another time.~~
Sounds...interesting...
Peace! |
SamuraiPlatypus 2003-06-30 . chapter 1 Rosebud is a reference to Citizen Kane. At least, I THINK it was Citizen Kane. Maybe it was a different movie that I recall being Citizen Kane. Whichever movie it is, the guy dies, and his last word is "rosebud", which may have been two words in the style of "rose bud"...but I don't think so. |
Irish Guy 2003-06-29 . chapter 1 Hm...i suppose Ian McKellan is a nice change from Bill Gates. The one question circling through my head the whole story (until the very last line[not including "the end"]) was "why is it titled 'Onion Rings'?" Oh well. Great story. although I don't get the "ROSEBUD" remark, I still laughed. |
 B. Styles 2003-06-29 . chapter 1::falls off his chair and dies laughing::
