Good but you have to wonder how they're so comfortable with each other if they've only known each other for a bit.

Still good, very readable. A little surreal somehow - like when it doesn't cover conversations in say, the lift - but that wasn't really a bad thing. Just, because more's left to the imagination it's different. Kinda refreshing :)

Interesting first chapter, You have an individual sense of writing that makes it a really appealing read. You used phrases and a tone that somehow describe the characters and situations uniquely. I'm not quite sure. Your spellings aren't that off. Just 'minuets' for 'minutes' but that's it. If you're that annoyed by it consider getting a beta-reader? Good first chapter.
