Lovely story. The funeral in chpt 1 is really poignant and you can almost feel the warmth from Mr Mikhail as you are reading. I loved the descriptions of the mikahail's house, and all the way all those family mementoes seem to emphasise Lupa's loss, and the last line of chpt 2 is a masterstroke. The contrast between the three brothers is interesting and I loved the long list of things that Vladimir is afraid of. The emergence of Lupa's playful nature, in chpt 3 is also nicely done. But where does Lupa come from? You're raising questions here that I want to see answered.

Cookies? *grins* cokies... I think I am reading the Lupa and Vladimir stories out of order. I like how the races are so different and how there are multiple worlds, although it is a lot to take in at once, and there is little explanation. Again, maybe I should have read something else that explains the nexus and gates and the world they live in and why they're animals that wear clothing somewhere else before this. I shall just have to scout around your other stories and see if I can figure out what's going on. But Vladimir sounds really cool! Your description of his different emotions reflecting in his two different eyes is really interesting. It makes me want to draw him or see a drawing of him.

Great first chapter, Lupa. You convey the feelings of the characters so well that you can't help but empathise. The serious start surprised me, but it is a great beginning to this story.

I wanted to know how Lupa and Vlad met up too, so I'm really enjoying this one. Nicely done :)

This may not be exactly a sequel, but i'm glad that you're writing about Lupa and Vladimir now. This is definitely a sad start off but it'll get better i bet. I look forward to the next chapter.

This is cute. Well, it's sad, of course, but cute nonetheless. I wonder whether she'd have gone so quickly with a man she didn't know, though...
