Just Wolf 8/8/03 . chapter 1i loved the imagery, esp in the first verse. some of your phrases were genius, and some of them were appaling. eg. genious:"bitter wine of the repressed." appaling: "amisdt the drizzly curtains/by an invisible misery's actors." the first line was beautiful, powerful and striking. the second was cliched, dull and unapealing. but still, it was a feckin' brilliant poem, and i applaud you for it. |
