Hey girl!
I know, that was a little upbeat for a poem of this nature, but, what can I say, I love ya! Besides, this is the first one I'm reading right now. (There's like 30 more for me to be depressed about.)

I really liked this line:
"Why should you care that you live next to a statistic"
To me, that gets the whole point across. And that's what's important. The last line too.

very nice piece. Especially the last line, in my opinion, shows that our choices have conaequences, even if we choose to do nothing. Furthermore it tells of the world of today, where we hardly know the person who lives next door i.e. we have enough in our own small lives, and most people don't care for strangers and what happens to them. so all in all...thumbs up!
