I liked this a lot. It reminds me of LOTR (Aragorn and Arwen) but that's no bad thing. It's beautiful.

I like the repetitive sayings that you put in here, "For he was just a mortal". Somehow I can't help but think of Aragorn and Arwen!

I loved this - this was amazing. I love the wording, and the sentences are chosen beautifully. I especially like how you repeated "just a mortal" in each of the stanzas - nice touch. I look forward to reading more.
