being a scary feminist chica, i was very impressed by this poem, it was so strong in its messege and the whole atmosphere was black with "NO".
i really cant find anything else to say...for once i hvae nothing to say, let the work rejoice!...kudos, fantastic job, girls around the world should read this poem for inspiration.

fascinating . . . i love how from the very beginning this seems to be a vision cast in gray without your ever mentioning a color. there's also a lot of bleak truth in it ~ the social status in particular stood out to me with this regard. there was a lot of strength in it, which did a lot to drive the meaning/feelings home. i'm sorry about you guys breaking up :(. my favorite lines were: "dark shapes in my head," "left logic for dead," "a persistant conscience/uttered endless pleas," and (the favorite of the favorites) "freedom ensnares me" (because it was quite captivating to think of freedom as holding someone back rather than setting them free). very good job with this, chica.

I liked how you made this a symbol.
