Wow! I just read this entire story in one sitting! I really like Helen. Usually, the woman in this setting plays the damsel in distress, but Helen is completely not that at all. I also like Robert, who isn't the dashing pirate I would expect a love interest to be. He's much more realistic to the setting with gold teeth and all. :) I'd love to see where this is all going. :)
