I would say that this is one of those great poems that I will remember for a long time. Especially the last line; "Turn around, and stare into the faceless crowd." That was the perfect ending to finish off the poem. Have you ever read "The Blue Girl" by Charles de Lint? This poem reminded me of that book. Anyway, that was just wonderful. An instant favorite. ^^ |

Because of how you've written your poem i feel like the issue you've addressed can be viewed from both sides. That is the obvious - the people who are ignorant of the "ghost" are made aware of their (presumably not intended) ignorance, and also from the view point of the "ghosts" amongst us who can relate to the person you describe. A great poem. |
