Nice, but they start out too openly antagonistic to really enjoy the sniping as anything more than a simple insult-war: entertaining to those embroiled in combat, wearisome to the bystanders. I recall a similar setup in a hilarious set of fictional letters I once read concerning long-distance dry-cleaning. In that case, the two correspondents had to take exquisite care to pose their most biting insults in polite phrasings. It made for a great read--here, however, while everything concrete is, of course, fantastic, the plot has difficulty supporting itself through...ten chapters?
Sorry about all the negative without the positive, but I know you get tons of positive all the time, so I'm just evening the load a bit :D

I was quite amused to see the way Shara called Elle's bluff. And the way you showed Shara's (perhaps false) change of heart was wonderful. Truly, you're a mistress of the written word, and I salute you.

So, the mask have fallen, as it seems. I like her tone in this letter, exactly as I would expect from the Goddess of the Dark.

I just love the cat and mouse game. I wonder, if Elle *did* go to her, what would Shara do? Oh, the posibilities...

She annoys me, just like her priestesses. Interesting how she avoids answering her sister's questions, though.

Tee hee hee! Elle's such a dolt! I have to admit I wonder why anybody would worship a diety like that with all the choices offered but I wondered the same thing about Dalzna. I guess the way Elle acts probably reflects the type of worshippers she has (or vice versa). There are a lot of stupid people too, after all.

BTW I think that the title you chose for this story was perfect! 'The Dance of Shara and Elle'

This was highly entertaining and I loved your use of sarcasm and metaphors.
If you continue writing more chapters for this, then I predict that Shara's last letter was one of the tricks she warned Elle about. I find myself inclined to take Shara's side, even though I like Elle very much as well!
You're a very creative person, and you write well! Keep up the great work! I plan on reading more of your stories!
