Well, after seeing your chapter alerts in my inbox so often and not wanting to read because I couldn't really remember the story, I finally reread it today.

So, here are a few thoughts I had for if you ever do a rewrite.

Number one is character development. None of the characters really feel like they have any depth. How to do that, I am not really sure. It's one of the areas I struggle in when I am writing. Maybe showing what they think and what they are feeling. *shrugs*

Second would be plot. The plot so far is ok, but it feels like it could be expanded on a lot. Do you talk to anyone about what you are planning? Maybe throw ideas back an forth? One thing I would do would be to solidify who the bad guys are. So far its Meg's dad and the rather nebulous "Council". Maybe have Joshua actually get into real danger? Like have him captured or something.

Well, those are my somewhat random thoughts. I have to say that this story is quite good. So have fun writing! :D

Wow, you really are going to change up Meg's character, aren't you? Well, I suppose that's good. Joshua needs himself a girl, too.

So, did they use too much magic for their beginner bodies? Is that why they fainted? And how will Eric and Rachael get them back to the ship? They just saved the day, but isn't it going to be a little difficult for them?

Oh, wow! You're NOT dead! I was worried about you, you're always so regular at this!

Anyway, thanks for updating! It was sort of a filler, but, still, I'm glad to see it up. Will Joshua get with Meg? Will Meg's father turn on Meg when he finds out she's an artisan mage? Will Joshua's plan work? When will Joshua and Cray make up? And what will happen in the night?

Will Meg try to sneak out there in the tiny village of Sommershorn? And what about Avolea is so important? Was it in a former chapter? Why did Meg react to it in such a way?

What's going to happen next?

I can't wait to find out! Please UPDATE SOON! PLEASE?!?!? I've missed you, you've been gone so long. I can't wait for you to give us more!

Absolutely brilliant story! I certainly hope you will finish this one, I don't have any practical and useful criticism - in fact I can't really think anything to complain about at this point. Only thing is that I am hoping you will continue this story, I might have something more useful to say once I've let the story sit for a while - right now it's just too fresh (and good!) in my mind to be really critical of any aspect of it.

Okay...that explains alot. So, will you be changing the new plan, too? Or have you finally figured something out you wish to stick with until the end. And what will Meg be like after the tea? And is their anything more to Joshua's powers? What more can he do?

Ha! NOW that is what I call justice! Hehehe. Poor Meg, how's she going to deal with being a 'freak'? And her poor, poor father. His son was killed by an artisan mage that was out of control, and now his daughter IS an artisan mage. Was she the one who lost control? No, wait, I think you said the artisan mage that lost control died, right? Anyway, great chappie. I like what you're doing with Meg.

Now, if I don't read my vibes wrong, I'd say you're almost starting to set Meg and Joshua together as...a couple. Eek. Now that is going to take the touch of a true magician.

Now then, what about Joshua and his power's? Is he some kind of weird mix between an artisan and academia mage, and is Meg just an ordinary artisan mage, or is there something different about her, as well? How did she pass as an academia mage? Did she not have to be tested because she started magic under her father at a young age? Or what?

So many more questions, I can't wait to read more! UPDATE SOON! PLEASE?!?

That makes me VERY happy! Most authors are not that obliging. Thank you so very much. I love this story so much, and the fact that you answer all my questions just makes it more enjoyable.

Hehehe. Anyway, what's going on with the mean, horrible people back in Capitol, including the First Speaker and Meg. Especially Meg. I'm waiting to see her comeuppance.

This is a lovely chapter.

I enjoyed your description, I loved the image of Joshua wanting to melt into the deck. It was most amusing. I also like the twist concerning Josh's powers; we just thought they'd been figured out, and suddenly he has even more unusual abilities! Excellent surprise. I feel sorry for Josh though, his schedule's already so full!

I'm not sure I'm quite clear on the history regarding Rillian. Will this be explained further, or do I need to reread previous chapters?

Intriguing. I'm interested to see if this plan works, and how all the major characters will fit into it. If it succeeds, I think that would be great, seeing as mages seem to be abusing their powers as it is. A fairer system of government would do a world of good, I think.

I enjoyed the banter between Rachael and Eric, especially the bit about her attacking a mage with a broom. Very funny! I also particularly liked the introduction of Loren, and Cray's comment regarding his "thoroughly unpronounceable" last name. It was amusing, and served well to show how close Cray and Loren are.

It seems Cray's resistence has support. I'm interested to see where this goes. Good work.

Okay, world take-over commences! It seems like a fairly basic plan, but it should work. Is Joshua going to be special in any way as an artisan mage, or is he going to just be like every other one? A particularly strong artisan mage? Or a particularly fast learner...or something?

Just wondering. Characters usually are special in some way, and now that he's with other artisan mages, he isn't quite as special.
