I just want to say that I really enjoyed this first chapter. I plan to read the nine that follow. Just wondering, the way you spell magickal. The K suggest you're Wiccan, or some other variety of Neo-pagan. Is that the case?

I love this! The personalities of the characters come out so quickly and you really get the picture of what they are really like.

I, as a martial artist and practitioner of the staff, must say that you write out your fight scenes well, something I wish I myself could do better. Your prose is flawless, there are no mechanical errors, and the long paragraphs are great! I first thought it would be bad, but after reading, it didn't matter to me whether there were paragraphs or not. I was totally consumed by your story! I cannot wait until you write another chapter.
