| Your Judith 2006-02-24 ch 3, | abuseAs I read the part with Deregoth announced a woman wished to see the Aurion I could not help but laugh… humor is always good in a story it ads interest. Aurion seems a bit lighter in personality in this story, probably because he is not waited down with a deep love for a woman. -Kit |
| Your Judith 2006-02-24 ch 2, | abuse(And so the plot thickens…) Even though I have finished “Brother Sun, Sister Moon” I find it nice to go back to the side stories you put up… Especial this one… I fond Aurion and interesting character… In a way he is like Jean Claude in Anita Blake, and in a way he is s not. -Kit |
| CerriC 2005-01-12 ch 4, | abuseFinally got around to reading more. I'm eagerly awaiting the next chapter in this. You /are/ still planning to continue, right? *grins* It was very well written. I am, of course, glad to see that Aurion is back. The use of the same prophesy ties the two stories together well. I'm eager to see how the spirit and baby being born are connected. Again, great job! |
| princesscat 2004-10-23 ch 4, | abusehey nice job. I like this story better than Brother Sun, Sister Moon (but that doesn't mean its bad or anything...u know what i mean) and i also like the way they're interlinked. Ever read anything Tamora Pierce? Well if you haven't i'm guessing you'd find them a little childish now (but then hey, you might just be an incredibly smart ten year old...u never know). Anyway They're just these books that use interlinking realy well too...hmm this really isn't going anywhere, is it? So what i'm trying to say is, i really like it. A lot. Maybe you could try Isobelle Carmody too if u haven't already coz they're quite good. Similar to your style. Anyway, keep those chapters coming! |
| ayliannah 2004-08-23 ch 4, | abusequite inspiring, if i hadn't read brother sun, sister moon, i would be tempted to read it as of now. This story like all your others, is quite catching, so i am patiently waiting for the next chapter :). |
| princesscat 2004-08-02 ch 1, | abusewow wow wow! it was brilliant! i've only read the first chapter and realised you have a few more to go...hmm...better get reading then! don't stop writing! |
| giygas666 2004-06-25 ch 4, | abuseFirst, your idea for the chapter order (Aurion, Sermolenus, the past) is a good one. It would mix things up and speed up the pace of the story. And telling the story from different points of view makes it balanced. I like it. Giving birth in a burial chamber? How deliciously macabre... I can't help but wonder if the insane laughter that comes at the end of the stroy comes from that other corpse in the chamber. And I'm eager to learn more details about this prophecy. Keep it up! |
| Limyaael 2004-06-08 ch 4, | abuseWell, that was interesting. I had no idea that they had tried to make the prophecy come true before its time. And then, of course, when it did happen, no one actually recognized it. Tricksy, my precious! I want to know who was laughing in the cave, of course, and what happened to the child, but I suspect that would spoil the story, so I'll wait. A question that might not spoil it, though: What is a "sun-cycle?" Would the child now be eighty days old, or eighty years? -Limyaael. |
| Rai Kamishiro 2003-10-05 ch 3, | abuseNot what you'd expect from a title of that sort, but lovely enticing in it's own way. Much innuendo, which is fun, but I simply can't wait till the next chapter. (Hint, hint) Rai Kamishiro |
| Rai Kamishiro 2003-10-05 ch 2, | abuseCreepy church. Then again, in my opinion a lot of them are. Love the Kunellus thing. Made me laugh uncontrolaby and made the people in Starbucks look at me funny. Rai Kamishiro |
| Rai Kamishiro 2003-10-05 ch 1, | abuseOh, how suitably bloody. I love the little nuances, and the way the shamaness used the salt as a universal holy agent. Rai Kamishiro PS: The parakeet thing? Yeah, sadly no parakeets appear in the story. Only Scria, which is close enough, I suppose. |
| RivanKnight® 2003-09-11 ch 3, anon. | abusehowdy there! oo Aurion will be meetin this restless spirit soon! ok, write a dang cool display of power for Aurion. He deserves that :) RK |
| The B.A.T 2003-09-07 ch 3, | abuseAnd finally, a closer look at Aurion. I think you said there was another, much further along story concerning him? But this was refreshing. And once again, Aurion and the Inquisitor. He just seems to take whippings left and right doesn't he, regardless of the time period? Too bad this is the only chapter up for now. I now have another story to look forward to reading about Akretera. -Yusef "The B.A.T." Pittman |
| The B.A.T 2003-09-07 ch 2, | abuseLol! Semeninass is such a bastard in Brother Sun, Sister Moon, but the way you describe those characteristics that make him hated in that story make him somewhat... intriguing in this one. I'm actually interested in learning more about him this time around. Poor Kunellus. I wouldn't be surprised if Sermolenus killed him for slowing him down or for framing Aurion in the upcoming chapters. -Yusef "The B.A.T." Pittman |
| The B.A.T 2003-09-07 ch 1, | abuseWow... that was rather eventful. Haven't I heard the name Kunellus in Brother Sun, Sister Moon? Maybe I'm imagining it. Oh, well. Here's a timeline question. Any aged Necromancer could easily endure 40 years, but I wonder... does this time period suggest that Nestus was not High Priest yet? That would be interesting, methinks. Gethren doesn't really seem to stand out to me right now. She just seems dutiful and bitter. But perhaps I'll see more of her personality later? Interesting how you used the salt binding act. I've heard of it before, just didn't think I'd see it again. I look forward to seeing some more familiar faces. -Yusef "The B.A.T." Pittman |
