kinda creepy. I'm glad my parents aren't that way. I'd probably go insane if they ever did something like that.

I like this poem very much, considering that I have some very similar feelings towards my father too. The difference is that I believe that I can be somebody, but he, of course, believes that I won't go anywhere. I won't write a book. I won't do anything worthwhile. All I do is remind myself that I only have four more years of this to endure, but then I'm GONE!
Anyway, if this poem is based on real life, then I applaud you for putting your emotions down so well. If it's not, then you're a hell of a writer.

you never really told me what your father did that was so terrible...but this is quite moving, and tells me a good deal. well, he can burn in hell, because our mysti doesn't give up! and there was much rejoicing over alli's rare self esteem helping thing that she never does so she doesn't even know what to call it! i have to go, just because i'm talking to you right now and the bloody aim thing won't stop bouncing and bothering me...cheerio, darling. yes, i call people that now.

I don't know if this was base on true life situations, but I'm going to say it anyways. You don't have to prove anything to anyone, except yourself! Stop living other people's dreams and LIVE.
And believe me, we all have our problems with family members.
