 kalariah 2003-08-10 . chapter 1Adam, words cannot express the beauty I see in this poem. It seems very different in style than any of your others--and yet, at the same time, a connection is felt that seems to sum up everything and nothing all at once.
I think I can understand where you're coming from with this stanza:
So long as some depend on me,
Be it masses or just one,
I'll work 'till dead, but otherwise
Motivation have I none.
You seem to express what the rest of us have no words to say, and in doing so, you motivate us to achieve our goals, to further ambitions--in your own words,
"I want to live - not as the ash,
But as the roaring fire." |
