Oh my God. That is ne of the saddest stories I've ever read in my life. True, though. My uncle died two years ago in November and I miss him a lot. This story reminds me of him, even though the boy who died in this story is obviously a lot younger than my uncle was. Thank you, thank you, thank you. *+fave*

Wow. Very powerful. First-person can be a difficult perspective to write from, you pulled it off beautifully. One can truly sense the emotions the woman feels for her lost loved one.
