you have a very distinct type of writing..try exploring other ideas for poems...although nature and folk are good..go out from those contraints and i think you will find your writing becomes finepointed

Your imagery is wonderful. There is more to the people then first appears to be. I love the poem

That was beautiful, but again I expected nothing less from you. The desriptions were entrancing. What moved me more, however, was the -almost- ceremonial 'sacrifice' of his hair. For ancient Greeks, this was a sign of mourning. I don't know if this was your intention, but the effect was breathtaking.
