SO good, i liked this chap the best so far! i love how u describe everything. especially this sentence "Saba was more than four score and five years, she was apt to have some spells of incoherency." lol, awesome awesome language! No fair, *steals some of ur writing skills!* anyway, we gotta talk more often ... luv the chap though!

as for corrections;"do you continually dismiss your only chambermaid, so she can attend to others, other than yourself, she’s your servant!" This is a run-on. maybe, "...other than your servant. She's your servant!"
and at the end the little interlude in which you transition to Saba it's sort of odd. The "flow" is halted here, like a river suddenly dissuaded from its true coarse. Maybe you can make this transition better, and it's so short.

I'm soo glad that you are finally putting this up! i love it! this story seems really well thought out and i love all the detail and descriptions on how everyone looks! can't wait to read the next chapter, and tell the friend that you are writing this with good job also!

Hmm... Quite nice really. First of all you exceed quite well at descriptions. They are quite flowery and such almost to the point of nausea but heavy descriptions isn't my style so take my description comment with a grain of salt. The only problem is that you tend to bluntly state facts about characters instead of letting the reader figure it out or draw their own conclusions. Getting out of that makes you go from an ordinary amateur to a skilled writer. Don't worry about it too much, just try to be aware. If you leave a review on one of my stories I will check back. You have quite a good start, I would like to see another chapter.
