PC 2003-12-20 . chapter 67 Congrats on another book finished. Your chapters are always surprising and suspenseful, making you want to go on. The twists and turns are always relevent, to. I wish that you'd describe to looks of the characters more, though. The twist with Pannerel and Annalithiel was extremely unexpected. |
mad-man2 2003-10-02 . chapter 68im back again, i have got to get my work shedule figered out.

 eglacirion 2003-09-24 . chapter 68 A quick thought...
IMO I don't think 'Honour was never enough' would make that good a title...it sounds more like a title for a parody of Honor Harrington... |
Rahul B 2003-09-21 . chapter 68 Great work again! I never suspected that the elves would end up fighting among themselves though it was clear that Pannarel and Annalithiel had totally different personalities. Very interesting. Will the fey gods play a role in this particular feud and who will they side with? I can sort of understand Kymenos' reluctance to kill the Heir because of the brief journey they had together but I would have thought that patriotism and general hatred for blundering dundering cry baby heirs would have made him murder the kid already. Heh. Will the Earth Dragon play a larger role in the future or has it end come? You had Pannarel follow the gargantuan beast so I was hoping/thinking that maybe it will take a role in the politics of the powers. Maybe it can bond with Kymenos somehow :P. Yeah, he's still my favorite. In any event, I really really look forward to your next book! Keep up the good work and god speed! |
Rafa 2003-09-21 . chapter 68 I'm slightly confused. As I understand it, gods draw power from their worshippers, so if you kill all of a god's followers, they the god dies. That is the well established part (I think). So when Pheron travels back in time (I won't even touch the temporal aspect of this) and causes people to start beliving in Rennon, He pops into existence, and He's the god of the sun. Whee. I'll just assume that more followers = more power until someone corrects me. So if gods are created by people worshipping them, then are weak gods popping in and out of existence all the time? Also, if I wanted a cool goddess to (give me ubercool shadowy powers, make me a societal leader, give me the Nethack Ascension Kit, give me magic weapons and armor that would allow me to defeat a small army, create a race of beings that exist only as my servants... more could be added to this list, but I digress...) all I would have to do is find some easily persuaded people, convince them that my cause is great, just, and so forth. .
PS: I might write a book at some point, and one of the deities' names will be Rennon (Lord of Citrus)
PPS: Rennon's name is similar to Gannon, from The Legend of Zelda series!
PS:You rock. |
White Lyhter 2003-09-21 . chapter 64You are so cool. Everyone thinks your stories are the best, and you should get published. What're ya waitin' for?
Okay, to the stories. Nightstone acted rather rude to Elary, in my opinion.
Could you really pull the eye of a dragon out? I'd think it be pretty wedged in there, no? |
Kell Hound 2003-09-20 . chapter 64great job keep writing |
Rahul B 2003-09-19 . chapter 62 Your stories are the best I've read. The only fault that I can possibly find is that I ended up staying awake 'til 3 in the morning on weeknights. But I wouldn't do things differently; your writing is better and more worthwhile than sleep! You are GOOD!
My favorite character is Kymenos. I was really surprised when you didn't have him become the prince, but I am glad that you chose the path less taken make it turn interesting. I think he's getting too soft though. He should kill somebody soon, I think. I also am parital to Olummer and Nightstone, who are very cool. And Ternora, with her blind rage and avirice, made me clap my hands in glee (as Kymenos also has). It might be sad, but it's the truth. Basically, only Elary hasn't made really fall in love with her, but slowly she's turning into the type of person I like: intelligent, self-serving, and rational.
I look forward to reading more about tedious, inane, and good ol' fashioned stupid royals, and the good men and women that must slay them. It surprising to me in some regards that I love this story as much as I do. Usually I'm drawn to those stories where the hero is gifted with extraordinary and supercool-totally off the scale powers that can only be matched but a singular nemesis, or even developed a hidden previously unheard of power or something along those lines. You haven't done that in this story, but have maintained such a high quality of writing, story telling, and character development that it makes it impossible to turn away. Keep up the good work!
(sorry this review is so long, but even this much I think isn't enough to express the way I feel about your incredible writing prowess) |
White Lyhter 2003-09-18 . chapter 58An earth dragon? Now /that/ was surprising.
If anyone should be king of Dalzna, it should be Kymenos, but I don't want a king at all.
Estora only seems slightly better than Cadona and Idona.
Go you. And you make excellent use of cliffhangers, much like the 'Da Vinci Code', which everyone must read. |
Rina Riku 2003-09-18 . chapter 58 I still do like Emrissa. Though, she must have been sleeping for a long time. |
irisclara 2003-09-17 . chapter 56 It always comes as a suprprise to me when the chapters start rolling to a conclusion. I think the Diamond is an eye of the beast that carries the worlds. Mitheril's going to get everyone killed unless something (Silar?) stops her soon. Where has Warcourage been during this book? I was looking forward to seeing his noble brattyness confused and tormented for many chapters. Please don't just bring him back to shoot him down. His "education" has barely begun! |
White Lyhter 2003-09-15 . chapter 51Okay, y'know how before I said it'd be amusing if Talazh was the heir, and how I /really/ didn't want Kymenos as the heir? Well, now that both have come to pass, I find myself disappointed. Go figure.
Awesome writing though! And even though I had mentioned Talazh as the heir before, I really never expected you to do it, so it was still quite a surprise. |
omg 2003-09-14 . chapter 1 Hey, hey, haven't you ever tried to actually get PUBLISHED?! You are too good for this site. I must kick you out and make a shrine to you. Man, 100+ stories?!! You've got a LOT of time on your hands. I wish I were you :) And GET PUBLISHED. I don't care how, its just that I know you write better than most authors I know that ARE published. |
 A. Lee 2003-09-14 . chapter 52What is it with you and cliffhangers? |
