   glitterjewele 11/4/03 . chapter 1*chills* that was amazing! it pulled me in so entirely that by the end of it i wasn't reading anymore i was watching some kind of movie, 'twas cool. it actually reminded me of a character in a book i read once, which brought it to life even more than it already was. favorite lines were "hands of fire," "a porcelain face; the mask of death," "banish away the rising bile," and the final couplet "never day, and never night/don't you waste your tears" - absolutely haunting. simply phenomenal, one of my favorites of yours so far, definitely up there with the dream-weaver poem. :) KUDOS! |
| Hershey249 10/31/03 . chapter 1 Dark and powerful. The rhythm makes it seem like a chant, which is fitting for an underworldly figure. I love the first and last stanzas, they could stand alone just by themselves as dialogue in a story, or a spell. Having them begin and end the poem was a great idea. Good description, and nice job. Everyone likes a well-done evil poem now and then. ;) |
| JJR Meerraf 10/14/03 . chapter 1 Oh! I loved that one! Nice and dark war sort of thing in there. I loved the last part: “Welcome to my realm of fright, Where shadows dwell on your fears. Never day, and never night. Don’t you waste your tears.” It was absolutely brilliant! P.S. If it's not too much to ask, did you do anything to get blank spaces (paragraphs) in there. I put them in mine but then I upload em and they (spaces) disappear! Great job again! Keep up the beautiful work! |
