wow... This really spoke write to my heart. I've been going through a lot of this stuff recently. You have a tallent for expressing emotions in your writing.

Anyways, awesome job, though I think this poem would flow better if you used less punctuation marks--you don't need one at the end of every line, you know. If you can be proud of who you are even though other people define it as 'wrong'... you're braver than I am. The people who can't accept you, well... either they're just too narrow-minded and deserve to be pitied, or they gradually will, if they're your friend. Even though hiding is good... freedom is better...

Oh, wow... the feelings this brought across were amazing. I'm seeing highways. When I see highways, it scares me. This poem made me see highways. And, you know, being "wrong" - though I've always wondered how they define that - is nothing at all to be ashamed of.

I'm absolutely proud of who I am, and ultimately more proud of the fact that I'm not hiding it. If people can't accept me for who I am, I can never consider them my friends. My true friends are the ones who will never turn away from me for just being me.
