Hi, I wonder if there's any chance that you'll be reading this anytime soon.
I read this story back when you were still posting chapters, which would be about 5-6 years ago?
At that time, I was pretty much a silent reader, new to FP and all.
If you're reading this, you're probably wondering what on earth I'm rambling about.

See, I was suddenly reminded of your story [I continuously think about stories/books I've read] and decided to read it all over again after so many years. I can still say that this story is one of the most memorable I've ever read on FP. Although, I believe that it could be polished up and be even better. :)
That said, since this story was completed, I've been anticipating an update for Cupid In The Rain since 2005. Over the past couple of years, I've constantly checked your profile for updates. Today, I checked out your LJ and subsequently a couple of your posts. Don't worry I'm no stalker. Heh. Um, Are you still writing? I'd love to read The Reality of Happily Ever After and Cupid In The Rain. I think you've got talent. :)
However, from the looks of it, you've got a helluva lot of stuff going on in your life.

amazing story! i stayed up all night to read it..i thought about it in school. you have real talent-your writing style is really engaging ang just..flows! it is truely incredible to read :)

So it's going great so far. Just by mentioning chase's mother and plans in London, you've dropped a pretty big hint. And that blue blood comment helps too. I think that they'll get engaged, and only because of her mysterious rich dad.
Can't wait to find out so i'll keep reading.

Thats all i can say after finishing your story, in 3 hours by the way, i was hooked. the story (plot, characters etc.) was completely awesome, and the talent you have for writing it all out is one that i hope to amount to soon, lol i feel like my story was written by a five year old compared to you...

It took me forever to finish this story, but I'm so glad that I have decided to finish it on top of work. It was such a fun read and I would recommend it to anyone. Thank you so much for your time and effort.

I loved the fairy tale type analysis of the story that runs through/with it. I really like how you took the "classic" elements of fairy tales and compared them to modern day reality. I like how you handled Chase's and Devon's responses to the revelations at the end, sticking true to the characterizations developed. I also like your approach to what love means.
On the other hand, loose end: whose signature did Chase need on her trust fund/what was the stipulation for her inheritance? Another thing, why did no one in her economics class not know she was living with Devon? After all, he'd apparently done interviews using her name and plenty of photos were taken.
Last thing, it may be different where you live, but everywhere I've run across the fairy tale, I've seen it spelled as Rapunzel with an "a" after the R, not an "e".

I love fairy tales.

ABSOLUTELY loved this story. Amazing plotline, sophisticated and incredibly interesting characters. Considering how many chapters you had and how long each one is, I think the fact that getting to the end so enthusiastically says it all :P

Just wanted to say(before I continue) that I really love how you've captured Devon and Chase through your writing. Specifically, the italicized bits for Chase and the last bit of this chapter for Devon. The way you captured how they think made the characters more realistic for me :) Onwards!

have u ever thought of maybe publishing this?? i think it would be a bestseller and i would definitely buy this book !

That was an absolutely amazing story. There is not enough words in the English language to describe how good it was! :)

I love how you wrote not only from Chase's p.o.v but Devon's and that too. It gave me more of a sense of the way each character thought and the reasons why they acted the way they did.

I could almost imagine this all happening in some place throughout the world. From looking at the publish date on it I know that you put this up a few years ago. I'm surprised this story doesn't have more reviews. I've seen stories on here with way over a thousand reviews and i have to say that this should be up there with the best of them. I know that earlier on you said that you weren't going to get this published but I think you should really consider it. People everywhere I'm sure will benefit from it.

Congratulations on writing such a wonderful story! I hope that any stories I write in the future will be even half as good as your own.

so iv just started reading this story and already i know it is gona be great. you have a wonderful talent in writing. if you wrote this years ago then i can only imagine how good at writing you are now. I hope that you continue your writing as i believe it would be a great loss if you don't. I can't wait to read more!
