that is really touching, my relationship with my dad isn't the best, and this poem really touched me. It inspired me to respect him more. Thanks and keep it up! =)

Thanks for the review. I like to review some of a writers work if they have done for me - i know how useful it is to recieve constructive criticism.
I like this poem because it's a realisation that a lot of people come to, including myself - for that reason people can apply it to thier own experiences, which makes them apprieciate the work of the poet more.
I guess parents too can understand this from both sides!
I like the contrast of the last line with the rest of the poem - shows the sudden realisiation of how wrong we can be!

hi, Lorna isnt it? 16? yer well thnx for the review very helpful. And the peom and the so called chorus, its not called a chorus its a special kind of peom i found one in a book once and decided to copy that style as i hadnt seen many about, SO :P hahahha, so had to do that.

Anyway so yer, thnx for the review a bit harsh but i wouldnt dream of doing it to urs unless they were really ** but hey whtever i dont care oh and last thing, how u come across my stuff anyway? (just wondering)
