I don't find it cliche. It's like a head rush.

Love and Destroy 2004-02-16 . chapter 1It's kind of confusing and hard to follow, but it's very poetic and I like it still! Sunrise |

Lurea Tinuviel 2003-10-27 . chapter 1so moving...i completely understand. this poem was written so beautifull, i think the style reflects on the broken condition of life the poem is talking about, cutting of the sentance at its middle...definately a favorite writing form of mine.
the way you just used one word in the beginning and end really made it so much more meaningful. in the beginning it drew me in, because silence is such a captivating word (dont you think?) and the "again" at the end really left a haunting sort of feeling...it really made me think aobut the poem and the meaning |
ShadowGal 2003-09-18 . chapter 1I wouldn't normally like the style, if it were your only one, but it fits very well with this poem. It gives me the impression of someone out of breath, or scared, babbling something all at once, then taking a deep breath and finishing. And that fits with what's being said. So, very nice. I especially love the first couple of lines, and the last line is really great because, even though it's only one word, it compacts everything else and makes it seem sadder. |
 I am Gone 2003-09-08 . chapter 1Very powerful and moving. |
thaiswirl 2003-09-07 . chapter 1well this style worked and the poem was great! |
Indigo-Andie 2003-09-01 . chapter 1i like the one word beginning and one word ending, it's very strong. |
Morgan Roe Glass 2003-08-31 . chapter 1I'm not sure what to say. All I can say is that I think this is a well done peice, and I love the word usage. The form is very rich to; begin with one word, end with one word. Eloquently done. Keep writin'

Canada 2003-08-30 . chapter 1God I wish I could write poetry like you. ^_^ Awesome job. It flowed well and had a sort of bitter after-taste to it. You did excellent for a first try on this particular style. ^_^
