Reviews For: Kissing the Blackbird
Eirien 2004-04-13 . chapter 1
I love the Gothic atmosphere of this poem, every word and image is perfectly chosen to create those feelings of melancholy, disillusionment, resignation, impotence, sorrow at the state of the world and the fragility and meaninglessness of life. The rhythm flows well, and I like the way you work with alliterations and assonances. Really a very good poem.

I take this remark from another reviewer, but dear Lord, english is only your second language? You coil it into such beauteous verse though...better than many who speak it as a first. ^^

Wow, I love this kind of poetry. It was like a trip through a graveyard that left you with a tear in your eye. Great job.
