This poem- It's really a beautiful rendering of the human heart. It reminds me of the Smitty song, well, um, actually there's more than one; but 'Go West Young Man,' and 'I'll Lead You Home,' most of all. I love Smitty. I love him so much I have a goat named after him, who jumps fences.

Does the "40" mean the 40th Psalm? That is a very good poem though...and very creatvily worded
