Jujain 2009-08-03 . chapter 1I'm really happy to see that somebody out there shares the views that I do.
Actually, something I've been wanting to do is 'witness to Christians', just lay out everything wrong that we're doing and what we could do to improve it, change it (Like getting rid of all of these hate messages our fellow Christians seem to enjoy sending. x_x).
I'm really happy to see such a message and I have to say that it really encourages me to write out that essay that I've been wanting to write out.
Great job and keep up the good work! :) |
liv-star 2006-06-07 . chapter 1You're right, we as Christians shouldn't just point fingers and leave it at that--but we still need to do something. I'm sure God will tell/show us what to do when the time comes, right? |
Winged Shadow 2005-12-04 . chapter 1Perfecto! My thoughts exactly!
...
Well, not EXACTLY, but close enough that I quite liked the poem!
(I'd like it anyway, just so you know - tis very well-written!)
Only ... I don't get the title.
:)

Crimsonoaks 2004-12-23 . chapter 1that had a very good point. i dont mean for this to sound condenscending at all, but i congradulate u for coming to this understanding. it was written well too hehe. good job. |
lickingmywounds/shoujo's revenge 2004-12-05 . chapter 1 I also think that Ellen DeGeneres is funny which is why I get POed when people claims that she's trying to turn people into homosexuals. The closemindedness and the hypocrisy of some Christians really sets me off. I'm not saying that I hate them for that but you're right about how they don't do what they preach. |
wordsworth in a garbage can 2004-08-22 . chapter 1amen for every line of this. one day I want to write like you. so very blatantly true. |
Dakota Alexus 2004-06-28 . chapter 1I like it, though i think it's more like a story then a poem. I am christian and i had to leave my church because they hated the fact that i was ok with homosexuals. It's really sad. I like what you wrote... it's honest and not many things are. |
 Magpie Poet 2004-03-14 . chapter 1nice |
Xan Cat 2004-02-19 . chapter 1Yes. I'm very happy that this was written. It's true, isn't it? We're so quick to judge, so quick to condemn. And so slow to offer our help; to pray for someone; to counsel. Why?
Because we're wallowing in self-righteousness. But all men fall short of the Glory of God, and we all have sin. there is no sin that is more than another; all sin is sin in the eyes of our Holy God. But man judges.
And man is wrong.
Good piece, Moonflow. I'll be be watching out for more of your works. |
yasuyasu 2004-02-14 . chapter 1Hi, I thought that this was a really good poem, I'm a Christian too. =D I also read the reviews for this fic.
Condoning the sin and forgiving the sin is different. Yes we forgive, but we must also know that homosexuality is wrong too. We must love and forgive the person, and tell them gently that what they're doing is a sin. As for sexual orientation, that is also a sin. The Bible says that thinking about it is as good as doing it. I quote from the Bible, if you hate your brother, it's the same as murdering him. Serious stuff. The Bible also tells us clearly that homosexuals will not enter the kingdom of heaven. As for Christianity being all about love, er, yes in a way. However we are to be chastised by God if we sin. It's not as if Christians are one big loving family and can do anything we want.
Hope I'm not ranting too much, or seem "holier-than-thou". |
Museworks 2004-01-20 . chapter 1This is a very controversial issue. (Obviously.) Therefore a controversial poem.
Deep stuff. :)
Firstly, there's a difference between sexual identity and sexual activity. Christianity isn't against people with a homosexual _orientation_. It is against any sexual activity outside of marriage. (ie adultery, premarital sex, etc.)
As people committed to loving others as God loves them, Christians shouldn't be hating people because of their sexual identity and damning them to hell and so on, so forth. That's not their call.
But we can't accuse all Germans of being Nazis on Hitler's account, and we can't call all Iraqis terrorists. Ditto for Christianity. Sure, there are imperfect Christians. (Hell, who's perfect?) That doesn't necessarily mean all Christians are evil, accusing peeps.
Love, people, not hate. :D
Remember, love is stronger.

Oh, and PS--if you have a reply or anything, please email me. Don't leave a flaming review--none of my stories have anything to do with this issue. |
Strina 2003-12-31 . chapter 1I wish more people were as mature as you. Christianity is supposed to be about love, not hate or discrimination. |
seafoamguitar 2003-12-28 . chapter 1let's hope "mama" dont read this. oops... i cant get on the site! haha |
breakdown in the waiting room 2003-12-24 . chapter 1*bows*
So sad yet so true. Love the stanzas- as my friend Frugale says, finally, a poem with CONTENT!
(I'm bisexual, by the way, so I really appreciated this).

The Cheshire Kitten 2003-11-09 . chapter 1You're really right there, everybody shuld be free to choose their own sexuality and way of life! Great message - there should really be more poems like this! |
