I use hafta every day of my life. (==); also dude and totally. not my fault i live in cali. (^^)

PLEASE UPDATE! plez? it's so much fun to read! this story i think is another one of your incredible masterpeices! if i get two more people to review will you update? I don't fully understand what a Chicago accent sounds like, either, but my drama teacher once said we all speak with them. I guess we just slur everything. But you're right, stuff like 'hafta' isn't uncommon. Maybe I just have a really, really narrow perception of the world. . .

Okay. Okay. I think I've got it. Eth-el-flad. Not "Aeth." Not "Flaid." Ethelflaed. WOOHOO! I finally said something right! BRING OUT THE CONFETTI!

That whole thing with Elizabeth and [ae]thelfl[ae]d fighting was priceless! (I'm just going to use those brackets in her name, and everyone can ASSUME what I mean! Ah, laziness.] You start to wonder how this is gonna affect history. . .oh well, we'll still get plenty of death and destruction in the long run; that's what counts, right!? *waves sw--I mean, foil.*

The Anglo-Saxon you've used is terrible? Could'a fooled me. Language is weird for me. If you actually heard me speaking, you might conclude that I was:
a.) someone with a very good command of English, who just tends to slur things like "gonna" and "hafta" and "wanna" and "y'know," etc. subconsciously, or,
b.) something between a half-valleygirl and a one-third-valleygirl (O_O" Even I hope that's not true!) who knows a bunch of useful adjectives, or you might even label me. . .
c.) a CHICAGOLANDER. Aiyaiyai. . .

Well, here's some good evidence supporting that. . .Tigress and me couldn't agree at first on how to pronounce your name! She would say "EEthelflaed" (like in 'see' or 'tree' or. . .yeah), and I finally got her to start saying "Ethelflaed," as in 'ethanol.'
So now I feel really stupid, 'cuz even I know how "AE" is pronounced.
Yikes.

Oh well, there are still plenty of people out there saying 'Ta-MARR-ah' and 'Ta-MEER-ah'.

Now I gotta say something USEFUL.

Hee hee. . .why do I have an ominous feeling that William the Conqueror is gonna show up next? Or soon? Or. . .something?

My two favorite lines concerning this first chapter were, "Looks black, it's not black, get over it, end of story" and "What manner of enemy are you?", plus what follows.

Musta been weird for Mouself. . .that would be like me opening an e-mail from Tigress that read, "Hello, Tamara. Today, I joined the Humane Society." Ha-ha! Ri i i ight, THAT'LL happen.

Tigress: Tamara! Guess what! I just joined the Humane Society!

Me: A A A A A A A A AH H H H! ! ! ! *runs*

Tigress: Tamara? Tamara! Wait, come back, Tamara, it was a joke! TAMARA!

Great story! Of course it is, I helped with it! ^_^ Hope more people review...this is really funny.
