I read the title, I read the summary, and yet for some reason as I read the story, I was not thinking about what I knew was coming. So it caught me off-guard and creeped me out. You are decidedly a brilliant writer (I don't think I have to say that in every review I submit) and this was a good example of that. Short but enjoyable...and disturbing. To the undisturbed!

Yay, I found this story! Okay, first of all, I saw it on S.T.Y.A.'s profile last night/this morning and the summary intrigued me, but I didn't read it because...because, well, I figured it'd be best to read a Horror story in the morning. It's really good, too...short, disturbing, and slightly funny. I was halfway expecting one of them to slaughter and devour each other at the end, but that would have been a bit melodramatic. Nice title, too, by the way. Keep writing!

Hooray for cannibalism! Hee, I like this! But the narrator could be fleshed out (ha) a bit more. We don't get much info about him/her/it/whatever.

A bit sick when you think about it, but written in such a detailed and lighthearted way that is seems quite natural and rational.

Whoa..that's kinda gross. Obviously. But...nice description. I liked the way you played the story out, and the details you gave to the example of Harold Deitz. But you might have put a little more depth into Anna and the narrator's relationship; it didn't say much about how she was special. What did she do that was different from any other woman? (Other than eating people.) But otherwise, it was a good story, if a little unsettling. I wouldn't want to be reading it while I was eating.

You've done it again. You've managed to managed to make a completly disturbing situation seem perfectly rational. I really like this one.

Great story, but the title and summary give away the story a bit. Maybe it should be left to the reader to work out.

I think it is Poppy Z Brite who writes stories like this, possibly also Christopher Fowler. If you haven't already, check out some of their short stories.

I will be checking out more of your stories when I get a bit more time.

The story is good, but I really think this isn't one of your best. it's lacking suspence. Though it is nice.
