What you've written at the end makes sense. Dying would be meaningless. You're poems make a lot of sense to someone who is feeling the exact same way.

Words flow from my soul
A burbling, sometimes shaky stream
Of painful thoughts and lost dreams

This pain gives me my power in poetry

A gift to the world
