| Dying Without Gackt 2005-04-23 ch 1, | abuseAnother very true poem. I love how you captured the human. Really though, humans are just big mistakes. Its so sad knowing all this. But you captured it beautifully and I completely respect that. |
| Luneko 2005-03-16 ch 1, | abuseSo painfully true. And yet He loves us. Magnificent, isn't He? I like your vocabulary. The way you use the words really shows that you actually know them and aren't just thesaurus-happy. It really improves the poem-reading experience for those who know those words. Even if it is a little intelectually elitist. |
| Getuie 2004-03-27 ch 1, | abuseY'know, I've never believed the whole "scientific" evolutionary theory that so many tend to cling to. We simply could not come from animals... because we're far worse than they are. There cannot be any relation between them and us... They're too good to be related to the monsters we are... the creatures we can become. There's this... (okay bear with me, I'm not English)... There are these two opposites which we can do that even the Scripture says should not be so. We bless and curse from the same mouth... How is it that these hands of ours can do such good and such evil and still belong to the same person? Anyway, as you can see, the poem got me thinking... Not that I don't think too much as it is, but... isn't all good poems meant to make you think?? Well done |
| Catty Engles 2004-01-25 ch 1, anon. | abuseI think you could have even gone a little harsher. This was an interesting read about your take on humans. I could see you using a bit more metaphors, but otherwise it was awesome possum! -Cat |
| M.T. Stockton 2003-10-24 ch 1, | abuseAnother great poem... Harsh, but true. Wonderful vocabulary, and I love your style. I love how you use beautiful words and figures of speech to portray something truly ugly. And as always, you hit the nail right on the head. Keep writing! BTW, thanks for your review of Troy and Promiscuous :o) |
| The Pancake Chef 2003-10-12 ch 1, | abuseagain, another powerful piece. all sadly true...this was another excellent poem |
| Mime 2003-09-26 ch 1, | abuse...Reminds me of all the discussions I had in English last year when we were reading Lord of the Flies in class. Sure, humans are the top race, but in a way, we're our own ignorant savages... |
| Jimmy Jazz 2003-09-22 ch 1, | abuseYeah! I agree completely with it! This is amazing! |

| godawful teen-angst poetry 2003-09-20 ch 1, | abuseI love the vocab you use here...it makes it all seem so much more viscereal. An awesome, intense poem, with a powerful message...this is good stuff. God, I can't believe I haven't read any of yours in so long...guess I'd better go make up for lost time...lol ~lyv |
| Keep it 100 2003-09-20 ch 1, | abuseI agree. As The Black Rider said, there is nothing wrong with this at all. ~Heart of the Sword |
| CoolBeans18s 2003-09-20 ch 1, | abuseThis is perfect. Powerful, hash, and perfect. It drives home such a point. Brilliant. One of your best! ~ CoolBeans18s |
| PainKiller 2003-09-19 ch 1, | abuse... That was... amazing. Truly marvelous. One of, if not my favorite, poem from you. Seriously, I must agree with The Black Rider completely; this is about as close to perfection in a poem as we as humans can achieve, though, as you showed in this poem, we really are filth. Excellent; it's going on my favorites. |
| soulspring 2003-09-19 ch 1, | abusevery powerfully written and as harsh as it may be, it brings up some very good points... |
| The Black Rider 2003-09-19 ch 1, | abuseMarvelous! Seriously, there was NOTHING wrong with this poem. Utterly perfect. I don't think I could've expressed it better myself. |
