This is such a weird day.
The last reviewer was right, this also reminded me of Mellon Collie and the Infintie Sadness. [Heh, and I am also a HUGE Muse fan. *sings a handful of mixed up lines from Absolution album*]
Some of the things in this were amazing, or just really struck me ... 'flotsam on the diamond sea', 'I chased your shadow ... etc' 'In tides of brine my pickled deeds ...' ... oh hell, why am I trying to quote favourites? That was ... brilliant.
Wow.
That felt like a song I could sit and sing for hours, strumming away at some guitar [that I can't actually play yet.]
Incidentally, it also reminded me of my own Texan, whose name means occasionally 'little prince', and who is a huge SP fan.

really enjoyed this one...i hope you take this as a comliment, but anyway...it reminded me of "mellon collie and the infinite sadness" and i am a smashing pumpkins fan, so...and by the way...Muse is one of my favorite bands (september 22: absolution.)
