abbsi 2009-10-14 . chapter 32 Hehe. Nice open-ended yet happy ending.
As for what you said about happy endings in the romance genre, well, in all honestly, a lot of people read romance because of the happy endings. In a way, romance is the ultimate fantasy. In general, people can't believe in "magic" per se, but when we call it love, suddenly, we can. So, falling in with that, the rest of the fantasy is the happily ever after. As for happy endings, in general or in this specific case, being unrealistic, well, the question is why? What makes it so unrealistic? And if you're busy pointing out any excuse for it to be so, then you're really not falling into the spirit of it, eh?
So, thank you for a wonderful little piece of simple romance, without the worrying about how cliche love is or how cliche the happy-ending is. Because, honestly, anyone who reads this and thinks about how overdone happiness is... well, they're small-minded and, brutally, a bit boring.:-P |
SunlitSky 2009-08-21 . chapter 11Your an amazing author. Please get published. This story is hilarious, I wish I could come up with the crazy lines you put into this. And Christian is such a cutie. I love him! Heck, I want a guy that smells of vanilla and old books. What kind of guy smells like old books?! So cool. :) Cory annoys me though. Ugh. Even though the popular group sounds a little ditzy they sound like fun. I'm siding with them right now, especially since Christian is part of them. Keep up the good work. :) |
