It's hard for me to describe what I felt while reading this. You wrote this in such a way that a person with even minimal knowledge of wolves can imagine what it would be like inside that pen. There is a lot of emotion behind this, and I feel it too. Bah, anything I try to say feels so ineloquent! I saw your photos of the wolves and it saddens me to see them behind chainlink fence.

Wonderful. I was at my local safari park just the other day, as it happens, and know exactly what you're talking about here - there's the sadness at these creatures not being able to run wild and free, yet also a feeling I can't really describe better than - well, better than you have. Exhilaration and serenity at one time, maybe.
