Man, you are so overdue for an update if that's the case. ;) My only real complaint is with the formatting of this chapter. The indentations and lines of asterisks distract my feeble brain. I'd definitely like to see more of this work. The opening is intriguing but the kind of thing where you want to turn to the next page... only there's no next page. Whatever you have planned here sounds like it could make a first rate novel but I'd have to see more before I made a real judgement. As a setup it's quite excellent and well written. But it desperately needs following up. Get to it! JW
