The Black Rider 2003-10-05 . chapter 1Wow, that was really something. It felt like I was watching a ghost fade away from existence or something like that. Very cathartic. |
Keep it 100 2003-10-04 . chapter 1True. It is amazing how much one life can be so significant, yet so insignificant in the big scheme of things.

Mime 2003-10-01 . chapter 1Yeah, it's amazing how much our lives mean to us, but when you look at them from eternity's point of view, we're just a drop of water in the well, so to speak. Keep writing! |
PIR4T3 KIN9 2003-10-01 . chapter 1awsome, really gets the reader to visualize the blink of time we have on this earth, and to use it the best we can |
PainKiller 2003-09-30 . chapter 1Excellent! To me, I felt a kind of repetition in the final three lines... like, the imagry... I can't explain it. :) Anyway, awesome poem, and keep writing! |
CoolBeans18s 2003-09-29 . chapter 1Wow! So brilliant, so true. I loved the imagery in: Soon to flicker out like/a flame in the wind. We're like nothing. A grain of sand in an infinite beach. I loved this one.

godawful teen-angst poetry 2003-09-29 . chapter 1o...like this. Like this a *lot*. It's so true, too; we see our lives as so important, but they really aren't; in the scheme of things, we're just tiny little ants a few lightyears from planets and stars so huge and incomprehensible that we can't even imagine them...just finite, short-lived beings..."one blink in eternity." Perfect. And beautifully phrased, as well. Going onto the faves list...
