I've always liked poems that stir around thoughts inside of my head that I've never really thought about before. Here, it's a hawk/dove analogy relating to myself. I'd like to say that I'm a little hawkish, but in all honesty my personality probably resembles more of a dove.
Are you like the hawk (ha, that sounds kind of...weird)? I'm just guessing, but the first side of the poem seems stronger than the second, which would make sense I guess.
