Genato 2008-04-23 ch 24,	abusefic was great. to answer your questions in the a/n (if you still remember them, lol. 1.) i can't think of a fave character right now. they're all good. :) maybe marshall or matt. 2.) my favorite scene was the elevator one and when matt rescued her from the blind date. i also like the part when nate saved eve. such agonizing, unrequited love, lurv it. xp 3.) okay. what to improve? YOU NEED SCENE BREAKS! more surprises. more evil twists. make her less stupid. more evil scenes. more uhmm intimate scenes, not necessarily scenes and not necessarily details. just tell if they did it or not. lol. my head is thick and you need to write them although ti was pretty obvious in one part.. wasn't it? and should've had epilogue wherein they had kids. and more emotions like, make her ourn for nate more. and make the story more continuing.. like. flowy like.

Good plot with the three families, oh and the relationship Eve and Matt have...it was beautiful and they're having a baby, wonderfull! :)

AJS 2008-01-27 ch 1,	abuseSo I was thinking over some points of your fic while I was in the shower, and I began to think about a few more things... one is if Ali was so jealous of Eve, why did she seem so encouraging as a friend of getting Eve & Matt together? You'd think if anything she would try to separate them because then that would cause Eve to grow even further away from being married. Oh, but I guess the issue of her marrying wasn't really a big thing to the Marlones, really right? Because in the terms, no where did it say anything about the money going to the Marlones if Eve didn't marry. Oh. So I guess that would explain why the Marlones didn't really do anything to disrupt the wedding. But another thing is that if Matt was in Starbucks all the time watching Eve, and Ali had some kind of interest in Matt, why didn't she ever just approach Matt herself before Eve even had a chance to get to know Matt or anything like that? Or did she already know that he knew he she was a Marlone and he was a Veretta? Or did she already see how smitten he was with Eve? Or was Matt just one more thing she was jealous of Eve of, not necessarily because it was Matt, but because Eve had Matt, who loved her and made her so happy? I think the other thing was about Ricky, but I guess I forgot that point. Oh wel. Anyways I think I'm out for now :) Until I think of more things, haha. I tend to linger on stories for a while, especially when I don't have another story to just hop off to, and to be honest, I've taken a slight break from fp stories lately (slight as in like 3 days, lol) and your story got me back here so it feels nice to be back and reading again :) I envy you for being able to write so much. I desperately want that kind of motivation for my own stories too :) -- Alyssa
AJS 2008-01-27 ch 25,	abuseYay for happy endings! I had my hopes up for something like a bulletproof vest or something for Matt. It wasn't quite that, but hey this works. Whatever keeps him alive :) Aw I love Matt & Eve together - and she's pregnant! Honestly I kind of expected for me to feel more saddened by their drama but I guess I just wasn't because as much as Eve had a right to get ** and especially since she was assuming things about the reason why Matt agreed to the deal in the first place, I think that demanding a year off and not even going to see Matt in the hospital especially after he had been shot and almost killed like that until she was forced to was a bit extreme. It does however make sense that she might think that she can't fully love Matt until she really knows herself. That makes sense. It was just a bit ridiculous, I suppose. I don't know. Anyways, Matt's a dream. It's amazing that Eve didn't notice him all that time beforehand! But it's funny how acting like an idiot drunk was what made her notice him :) A couple things... in your first chapter/prologue, this is such a minor thing but the word "blond(e)" is actually masculine/feminine in English, so when you refer to a guy he's a blond but when you refer to a girl she's a blonde. So it was just weird reading about Ricky as a blonde. The other thing was that I was wondering since Sam called and said her brother or something was back from Iraq too and Ricky was back from Iraq - how did he plan that so nicely? Were they in any way connected? And out of curiosity, how does the title of this story fit with the story itself? I really like the song that it's based off of though :) Actually, in order to block out the background noises, I listened to it on repeat for most of the time that I spent reading this. I've grown very fond of the song ^^ I actually didn't expect that Ricky was actually in on the marriage thing for the power. I thought he had just devised the plan to help out Matt, so it was a definite surprise. I also thought that the Malones would have done something to actually stop the wedding, so I was totally expecting someone to like... shoot her or something during the ceremony but I guess not. Back to Ricky though... it was a bit selfish of him to do that, knowing that no matter what kind of lies he told Eve, she would always forgive him because duh, they're family, and even more, they're twins. But for Matt, things weren't just guaranteed like that. Ricky is a pretty selfish character... Anyways, I liked this story a lot :) It had a nice balance of action and romance (as in, leaning more towards the romance side, lol). Please keep on writing; I hope to read more by you soon :) -- Alyssa
