Damn good (yet incredibly angsty) poem! You've got an interesting style, and the fact that all of this was centered really made the poem stick out. Question:

I always center my pieces and put them in html format, but the pieces never appear centered on fictionpress for some reason. How'd you get yours positioned like that?
