Laura, dear, you continue to amaze me! Another stunning peice of work-- how do you write so brilliantly?
"The shadows whirl, the colors tip, your mind is upside down, rags to riches, golden streets, a twisted, thorny crown."
That blew me away. How real your words are! You really make something out of them, and it is both chilling and true. The last line really got me-- this is certainly the sort of poem that leaves one pondering! Wow-- I just cannot believe how amazing your work is-- truly! It's just . . . amazing, which I've said. Words cannot describe how I admire it. It's just brilliant.

You cant imagine how glad I am to see a good piece the min I come home after a day full of killer exam papers..

Anyway, that was awesome.. Kickass awesome..
That was simply beautiful with amazing images to go with it..
Loved how you managed to convey such lovely emotions as well as potray such wonderful scenarios in so few words..
Contrasts in the piece were really well done too.. And yes, I loved the first two stanzas to bits..
The use of short phrases were really effective.. As well as the rhyming in different stanzas.. That firstly was unique, and added to the fact that the rhyming was really natural as well..
There was a sort of unity and balance in the piece that linked the stanzas together..
There were so many lines that really drew me to the poem.. I had to catch my breath several times..
Its a brilliant piece of poetry and the ending was particularly effective in concluding it..
Amazing work, interestin and simply enjoyable..
