 A. Lee 2003-10-06 . chapter 3Okay ... umm, I think Herran is a very wonderful person and that he should be Councilmaster, but that he should go and bloody forget honor and oaths and watchmacallits, and just ... er ... do wahtever he wants with Tandra, instead of fobbing her off with some stupid "I-promised-Chemilli-the-Elwen-who-wanted-to-kill-me-that-I-wouldn't" excuse.
And I thought Aereri understood it wasn't Herran's fault? What's his problem? |
BbHtrYoink 2003-10-05 . chapter 1Herran sure is different, isn't he? "He had never craved power, but he could not lose the Councilmastery, not now. He had too much to do, so many visions to fulfill that sometimes they pressed on him."
Anyway, I love how you managed to get the story off to a fast start, yet again. I'm glad Aereri is finally seeing some sense and blaming the correct person (Quirrin is the root of all evil, isn't he? =) ) but he just isn't at Herran's level. As you once said, Herran was born to wield power, and now I truly believe it.
What did you mean when you said, "Then he said in the fragile voice of someone about to break a mirror"? What does breaking a mirror mean?
And don't worry about your writing! If it isn't as perfect and polished as all your other stories, then I didn't notice it.
So long, and dont forget to write! =) |
