( And no, I do not say this often ) You have managed to allow me to picture all your words clearly in my mind in the form of pictures. Thank you for the vivid imagery! Your tone of solemn disappointment and small relief in thought and in regret was nice weaved in. Emotion felt, so the poem was effective. I have not much to criticize on this piece ( perhaps a downfall of mine when I like something ) However I can say that this poem could have been better developed to create a deeper impact but still, I liked it. A good effort! Keep writing. |
