I like how you had a thin, wiry, reedy, shy guy go up to a slightly chubby, outgoing, energetic, homely girl with every intention of asking her out, yet she asked him instead. It kind of makes it sound more dirty than romantic and loving when you use the word '**', though... It's a good story, but just... a little too quick...
