Wondrous analogies! I'm seeing that you have quite the knack for impressive endings; I commend you for that. Hm...this is actually reminding me of a number of things, but those topics depress me, and besides, yours seems to have a positive connotation. By the way, Heart of the Sword is indeed an unmatched writer, to say in the least. I further praise you for dedicating it to her. I'm sure she's proud of such a piece being for her.

The last line about color is plaguing me at the moment:

On one hand, black and white pictures are sharp, clear, and have a touch of something that color doesn't own.

Ah, it's not so bad. The rhythm is somewhat off at times but once again it is compensated for by your spectacular use of imagery. And it was really sweet of you to dedicate the piece to Heart of the Sword. I agree, she is truly one of the masters.
