I know exactly what you mean and I hate it. You are a great poet and I love the way you phrase it. "Each tear that drops, Magnified by the pounding of the rain" That is my favourite line. Great job!

This is a tendency we all have. As soon as something happens, we look back to what was and realize it's not how it can be anymore... Each of us have seasons to walk through... A rainy season is just as needed as those awesome sunny times... This poem is great. well written

I hate looking back at the past...it scares me. But that's how the devil mocks us. So, if he reminds you of your past, remind him of his future. Muahaha...^_^ Great work, Elohimdancer. You have a beautiful penname, by the way. :D

the rhythm seems a bit off in a few places, but overall I like it. Nice work :)
