Nice. Really nice work here. It was a damn good parody. And I believe that that is one of the hardest genres to accomplish.
Great style.
I write - mostly poetry. If you are interested: http://w.opendiary.com/entrylist.asp?authorcode=B236832

Had to grin at phrases such as "we were cool, we were down/we were all tight and stuff" and "My boys and I" and "OOh, I’m shaking in my friggin’ boots.". :) Dunno why, but it reminded me of all those movies when all the high school Caucasians boys tried to be hip-hop and went around with baggy, boxer-showing pants and... Well...like Ali G, actually. *laugh* Doing that hand expression thing and all.
Like "Day Six", this is showing a biblical event from another perspective and it's VERY well-done. *filled with envy and pride* Luis' personality doesn't falter one bit and I love the description of his new job given by The Boss Man.
I hope you Ms. Sands gave you a high mark for this monologue. It's truly unique and entertaining and a bit satirical. Kinda says that the division between "Luis" and "The Boss" isn't a cataclysmic event as others think, but just a normal, everyday event in the dog-eat-cat (or whatever that expression is) world of running and managing a business.
Great monologue, Noah. I can see why you're a great drama student. (But a lot of paragraphs/sentences start with "So". A bit...hm...)
